Le Cirque des Rêves

This week went pretty smoothly. I did end up re-painting the piece I was working on. I'm glad that I did, it looks better, more of what I was going for. The background might take me a while but at least I know what I'm going to paint because I'm using a reference. I want to do more backgrounds this year lol. ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ

I also finally got my hands on a copy of The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron. It's a shame I have to speed run it because it's on loan from the library and it's in high demand.(Took me months before I could finally rent it.) It's supposed to be like a twelve week course and I'm taking notes so I can return to the exercises. But I have to complete it in like two weeks lol. ミ ᕕ(ᐛ) ᕗ Challenge accepted. Also, I think some of the exercises can be fun to try but some of the reading perhaps isn't for me. Can't say I agree with all her points, I have my own personal relationship and views on art and what it means to me. But I acknowledge I have a different opinion and will only take what will help me grow.

I've been steadily advancing through Trouble and Her Friends, I'm really enjoying this. The characters feel really distinct and I'm enjoying the plot progression. It's been a good read thus far. I may stream a writing session later into the night, I know the general direction chapter four will go in. So I'm pretty excited to work on that. (=ↀωↀ=)
