I totally meant to add a post last week but things got a tad hectic. ╮ (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.) ╭ During fall break, I got to see a Van Halen cover band, they were pretty good & fun to listen to. We managed to snag front row & I was able to catch a pick & sing with vocalist?! (I was definitely not expecting that, lol.) But it was fun overall! On Thanksgiving, I hung out with family & the day after we had a cousins brunch. It was nice being able to catch up with them & spend time together. (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤ Aside from Christmas, we're hoping to get together at one of the local cons. (Already got my ticket, yikes prices have really gone up. TAT ) After brunch we did some holiday shopping, I got gifts for mostly everyone. So I'm glad I knocked that out of the way.
That Saturday, I was also able to spend some time with a friend, he gifted me an Alice in Chains CD. I was pretty stoked, I love them a bunch, lol. We visited a few retro game stores, one of them had a shiba inu chilling up front, so cute! ૮ ♡ﻌ♡ა Afterwards, we went to a comic shop & I was able to pick up a few volumes. Then we went to a taiyaki/ ice-cream place. Their specialty flavor that day was cereal milk & it did indeed taste like cereal milk, lol. Following that, we visited the record store, I was browsing for Type O Negative but no luck. Finally, we chilled at my buddy's place & he was able to show me some stuff he's been working on.
The week after, it was my birthday. I was really surprised how many of my co-workers remembered & went out of their way to wish me happy birthday & get me stuff. It was really sweet, I've never had anything like that in a workplace environment. After work, I had dinner with family & we watched a Christmas tree lighting & took some nice photos. It was a nice night overall. The weather was pretty chilly! I also treated myself & got a steamdeck, been playing the Hades game. Gosh, it's tedious but also fun. I love the art for it! It's gorgeous! (´∩｡• ᵕ •｡∩`) ♡ But it's definitely going to take me a while to complete it.
As for my creative hobbies, I've mostly been working on drawing my OCs. Kinda redesigning a few of them & hashing out a few ideas. Still working on the same chapter of my fic, writing takes a lot of my brain power & sometimes I just don't have enough after work. ;__; Looking forward to winter break where I can write a bit more, I also saw an event pop up & I want to participate because the prompts seemed fun. So I'll try to get as much of that done over the break. I've also been practicing my footwork for fencing, I hope I'm doing it right. I can't make it to most of the practices because of work so I've been doing some solo-studying. Just gotta do what I can, lol.

My younger sibling and I played through a good chunk of Hades, but certainly didn't complete everything. (We made it through the main plot, but I really want to someday play through and complete all the side character quests and romance arcs and stuff.) It's a lot of fun, though! I hope at some point I have a system I can play it on.

Nice, I'm barely scraping by, lmao. It's definitely worth thorough exploration & playthroughs. I agree, it is fun even if I die over hundreds of times. I hope you get a system too! Play all the fun games!
